Allison is the founder of smith & beta. She's a spirited entrepreneur who is resistant to status quo, promotes action over chit chat, and is over-the-top passionate about redefining workplace learning and all things org change. She's held a few fancy positions in advertising and marketing prior to launching smith & beta in 2013. If she's not writing, speaking, or digging into a client's business needs, you can find her hiking up one of the many beautiful trails in Boulder, CO.
In his role as CFO, Jason's mandate is threefold: clarify our financial picture, streamline our accounting processes, and make accounting slightly less boring for the rest of us. He holds a BS in Accounting, is an active CPA in the State of Colorado, and has a decade of experience helping businesses improve their bottom line. He spends his free time wondering when his job will become fully automated, and dreams of writing the software that will ultimately replace him.
Lori is the unapologetic education and creativity theorist on the team. Her participation ensures that programming meets the developmental and psychological needs of diverse learners. She focuses on evolution in the workplace toward more positive, future-focused work and designs for engaging experiences that make programming memorable and applicable. She works as a writer, visual artist, and college professor in NYC.
Our teacher network is a team of practitioners from startups, agencies, and large, esteemed institutions. We have an established group of experts that we collaborate with on learning experiences.
